Attention Pomelo NFT collectors! We have something truly special for you.

Put on your spacesuits and get ready for an intergalactic adventure that’s out of this world! We are thrilled to announce that our beloved Pomelo Astronauts are going on their first mission: a groundbreaking trip to the Bitcoin blockchain, and we want YOU to join us!

But there’s a twist — the number of seats on the mission is limited and the deadline is April 20th, so act fast if you want to participate!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make history as one of the first cross-chain NFT ventures for NFTs on EOS.

What you need to know

  • Each unique Pomelo user can send a maximum of 2 Astronauts through the portal.
  • The BTC Ordinal portal opens on March 15th at 23:00 UTC.
  • There are only 80 spots available in the spaceship.
  • You need your Pomelo Astronaut NFTs and a Bitcoin Bech32 Ordinals address. To generate the latter, we recommend using the Hiro Wallet Chrome Extension. It’s the easy way to generate your address and manage assets stored on the Bitcoin blockchain, like a Pomelo Astronaut Ordinal NFT.

1. Install Hiro wallet: https://wallet.hiro.so/
2. Click Receive
3. Copy Ordinal inscription (under Collectibles)

  • This article guides you through the process.
  • Once you’ve got your address, you can go to Pomelo NFTs and start the process.

It’s time to choose the Astronauts in your inventory that you deem brave enough for the mission.

Follow the steps below for each Astronaut:

  1. To initiate the transfer, find your Astronaut and click the button with the Bitcoin logo under the image.
  2. In the memo field, enter your Bitcoin Bech32 Ordinals address.
  3. Click Send to sign the transaction and our team will take care of the rest.

That’s all it takes to send your Astronauts on an epic journey through the Ordinal portal and mint your Pomelo Astronaut as an NFT on the Bitcoin blockchain.

What will happen when I send my Astronaut to the BTC Ordinal portal?

On their way to the Bitcoin galaxy, the Pomelo Astronauts need to travel through a black hole. While this is theoretically possible thanks to the Pomelo DNA serum, it’s still an untested thrill ride into the great unknown. So for this part of the journey to work, the Astronauts need to transform their physique to be more lightweight.

Meet the artist

The Pomelo team has been searching for an artist to help us with this mission, and we’re happy to announce that we’ve found a worthy candidate within our Antelope community.

Each Astronaut sent to the BTC Ordinal portal will be carefully reworked by John Weaver, a renowned pixel artist involved in several popular projects in the WAX ecosystem. Many collectors enjoy his Token Girls collections and interacting with his creations in Pixygon games.

Now, check out this preview of how the Pomelo Astronauts may look once they’re cloned for the BTC Ordinal mission!

Act now because seats are limited. Plus, the stars that need to align for the BTC Ordinal portal to open will only be in place for a short time.

The final deadline to send your Astronauts on this groundbreaking mission is April 20th!

Be part of the story

So, what are you waiting for? This is your chance to be part of this moment in NFT history. Let’s make history together and send your Pomelo Astronauts on their journey to the Bitcoin blockchain!
