PATIENT”CENA”MURABAZI: THE MAN FROM CONGO

Patient Murabazi is a 24-year-old Congolese. From Kampala to Uganda , Patient decided to move to Bangkok to find a new life. Patient was a school bus driver back in Uganda. He sees that his home country isn’t moving forward at all so he decided to pack his bag and fly to Bangkok.

Patient’s passion is to help others fulfil their fitness dream.

In Thailand, he works for the Christian church in Bangkok and after a while his friend introduced him to crossfit. “So my friend introduced me to Crossfit Ten500 and that is how I started my crossfit career.” Patient said of his background to crossfit.

His deadlift is strong and fluid like some of the Thai’s national olympian. With the personal record on deadlift of 515 pounds and seamless snatch of 215 pounds.

“Mentally and physically he is very strong, he’s been through a lot but that’s what made him who he is today.” said Chuy Martinez, Patient’s workout partner and friend.

Patient’s goal is to compete in the Reebok Crossfit Games, which is the largest crossfit competition in the world. He knows what he needs to improve and work on. When I asked him “What are you thinking when you working out?” he said “Just kill it, kill the workout.”
