Diversity make Portland Cool

“I think what makes Portland cool is it’s diversity. I’m worried that as the housing costs continue to rise, we’ll lose the diversity that makes this city great because people won’t be able to afford to live here. I live in Parkside with my partner and have since March of 2015. I love how walkable to city is — I can get to my job as a housing support case manager, to the grocery store, everywhere I need to go. I feel pretty lucky because my landlord has been respectful and generally easy to work with.
