From Vadra to Jay Shah
When Manoj Mitta wrote the book “When a tree shook Delhi” on the 1984 Delhi riots, the BJP hailed it. A few years later, when he wrote the book “The fiction of fact-finding” on the 2002 Gujarat riots, they trashed it.
When journalist Rohini Singh exposed Robert Vadra’s shady land deals in 2011, the BJP went to town with it, even making it a campaign issue. Today, when she broke the story on how Amit Shah’s son’s company had a 16,000 times increase in turnover in the first year of Modi rule (and later shut shop just before demonetisation), their trolls launched a campaign to discredit her.
That’s the BJP for you.
