Who is genstrike.org? #GeneralStrike

So a website styling itself as genstrike.org is asking us to join in a general strike. Who are they? Their website offers no names, nor organizations offering their endorsements. But they do want our email addresses.

Their URL registration is through a proxy server that makes them anonymous.

So is it a bunch of amateurs? Or a corporate trap? No way to know.
