Business Development

On June 21st, Primas and Soundchain officially formed a strategic partnership, in which Sounchain will connect its core API to Primas. Soundchain will use Primas’ DTCP content protocol to enforce and support music copyright content metadata, increase content volume, optimize speed and efficiency, and implement a system-wide value rating system.

As a pioneer and leader in the blockchain-based content field, Primas is committed to increasing the value of text, audio, video, and other mediums; its DTCP will do so by generating unique keys, securing content transfer, and building a value-based system of trusted content.

In collaboration with Primas, Soundlink will be able to build a decentralized and cross-platform music distribution system. This collaboration will serve to promote DTCP integration and typify its potential and application.

Brand Activities

On June 24, Primas held its worldwide launch conference, titled “Ushering a Brave New World”, in Shanghai. It was at this event where Primas officially announced and released its DTCP (Distributed Trusted Content Protocol) infrastructure, which it claimed would serve as the framework for the next-generation Internet; this technology has been already integrated in the Primas’ DApp, the first blockchain-based decentralized application. In attendance were blockchain experts, investors, strategic partners from home and abroad, as well as members of the Primas community. This announcement marks the culmination of Primas’ efforts to bring forth new technological blockchain-based innovations and applications.

Wu Peng, Primas Co-founder, introduced the development process and Primas’ vision, arguing that:

“by decentralizing content flow using Primas, users will be able to obtain peer-screened, high-quality, and trustworthy content.”

The incentive system would guarantee that high-quality publishers would be fairly and directly rewarded for good work, before further announcing that copyright protection in the form of DTCP would fundamentally reshape content flow online and usher in a new era of content consumption.

Primas is based on the DTCP, as part of the next-generation of Internet infrastructure.

Gan Lu, Primas Co-founder and CTO discussed how the DTCP is a step past the traditional WWW protocol, built to support a trusted, efficient, and high quality Internet. Through blockchain technology, content verified by the DTCP cannot be tampered with nor lost in order to assure authentic content. The DTCP implements a myriad of peer-to-peer content communication, including semantic links, two-way links, among other functions. Through this, the DTCP, along with Primas’ blockchain technology, allows for faster and more secure decentralized connections. A departure from traditional centralized systems, the value of such technology in our current world cannot be understated.

The conference marked yet another milestone for Primas and signals the start of a larger-scale change across the Internet. Primas is fully committed to changing the Internet as we know it by making it more secure, faster, and better user optimized. Primas has called for the wider adoption of its DTCP standard and encourages everyone to join in as technology moves towards a blockchain-integrated future.
