Primas Will Support Mining! — Primas Node Plan Released

The Primas Node solves bottlenecking issues of using Ethereum and other existing public chains.

The days are numbered until the release of the Primas mainnet and many new functions are coming online. One of the largest features being the long anticipated ability to mine the Primas Node.

With the appropriate hardware and a small amount of PST to stake, miners can easily obtain PST from the incentive pool.

As detailed in our white paper, the Primas Node acts as a middle layer within the Primas network. As one of the primary defining technical achievements of the Primas technical team, the Primas Node solves bottleneck issues of existing public chains, such as congestion in DApp transactions and high costs. It can also provide secondary accounts for applications, an inalterable data storage system, content recording and tracing and other standard functions that have wide applicational use. The Primas Node can also distribute token rewards from the Primas system whilst completing these functions. These functions are all based on the DTCP protocol.

The Primas Node is positioned between the public chain and DApp. By means of secondary acceleration, the entire system can be run and transaction records can be uploaded to the chain simultaneously and without causing a drop in performance due to bottlenecking the public chain.

How does this fit in with Ethereum?

Ethereum is undoubtedly the most mature public chain, there are currently hundreds of DApps running on Ethereum and as a result, performance struggles from bottlenecking issues. With the price of Ethereum rising from dozens of a few USD at the beginning of last year to nearly 700 USD now, this pressure makes Ethereum’s commission fees for a single transaction reach several USD. If the Primas DApp is to be used large scale, even with with the arrival of hundreds of thousands or even millions of users, only the daily commission fee paid for Ethereum will become the bottleneck for DApp performance.

Violent price fluctuations of Ethereum can result in block congestion and limit the performance and development of DApp on the Ethereum network. Users would be unable to immediately receive feedback from blockchain transactions, it affects user experience.

These problems can be resolved through the Primas Node. The system records key interactions and transactions within the DApp as they happen and then uploads them onto the chain during off-peak time. This middle layer provides a decentralized solution, disallowing any single node from altering transactions, this enables inalterable data storage.

In addition to Ethereum, there are now many new public chains, such as EOS, Cosmos, etc., which improve Ethereum’s POW algorithm in pursuit of solving the issue of commission fees and congestion. With the rapid development of our Primas DApp, the network is unable to wait for the huge developments planned on the Ethereum network, therefore whereas Primas Node will soon be able to provide a common API, allowing the application layer to quickly achieve rapid expansion and ability to change between public chains.

So what’s next?

Into the future and because of the technical characteristics of this middle layer and interchain of the Primas Node; when public chains compete for space, the Primas Node will be able to quickly move onto a new public chain. The DApp does not need to switch between different public chains as it is directly docked to the Primas node. This guarantees permanent usability!

The consensus mechanism of the Primas Node uses a revision of the “Tendermint+PoS Fault Tolerance Algorithm”. This consensus method has been tested for the past year on the Yuanben Blockchain based on the DTCP protocol, so far no misconduct has occurred. Tendermint itself is also a very robust consensus structure, this mechanism is also used by the Cosmos public chain and referred to as “blockchain 3.0” by Wanxiang Blockchain.

20% of the tokens distributed daily through the incentive system will in future be distributed through the Primas Node and the decentralized crawlers that will be released in the future. In this way, Primas has implemented mining through the Primas Node, whilst at the same time, the Node itself also serves as the most powerful support for the entire system structure.

When the product is officially released, our team will announce the hardware configuration required for mining the Node and the specific pledge requirements for PST. Also in that announcement, our team will also explain in further detail the various functions of the Primas Node and why Primas is leading the charge in creating a more responsible, higher quality and more rewarding internet.
