Write A 100-Word Story. Or… Yearning

I pine to touch you.
To hold you in my hands.
To smell the scent of you, to let my fingers trace your outlines, for my ears to delight at your sounds, to let my mouth taste the shape of you.
It’s been long, so long. Too long.
I’ve imagined every angle of you, every twist and every turn, all in exquisite detail.
The anticipation.
I know when it happens you will not disappoint.
But your author has not written you yet. And so, next book in the series, I yearn for you as I would yearn for a lover.
