It lands gingerly as snow does on trees and fields.
Staining my cheek with the first blush of the morning light.
You roll over the sleeping alcove to my side
Sniffing my hair and tucking it behind my ear.
My eyes crinkle with joy as your lips coaxed me to an ecstatic state.
Just like some multicoloured magic in slow motion
The only words flashing in my mind,
I’m completely lost!
And oh so enamoured of you.
