We are so excited that the new home screen experience is live on iOS, and we hope you’ve been enjoying it so far! Since you’ve had a few days now to play around with it and get acquainted, I thought I’d give you a more formal introduction.
We moved news to its own section so we can show you all of your available bills (and paydays!) on the home screen. If you want to read the news, simply bring up the menu and tap on “news”. Your bills are listed in the order in which they’re due, with the bills due soonest at the top.
You will see that each different bill has its own color; that color corresponds to the income bar at the top of your screen, showing just how much of your income is taken up by that particular bill. This gives you a deeper level of visibility into your finances, so you can see how much of your income is spoken for by your bills, or when things are getting tight.
When you tap on one of your bills, you will see the same information you’re used to (due date and amount due), along with a slider bar. You can use the slider function to see how paying more or less on your bill will affect your total income for the month, as well as set the amount you’re actually going to pay.
We hope the new experience gives you an even greater sense of control over your finances. We’re really proud of this update, and we think you’ll absolutely love it.
