Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

On Sunday, four of Prism’s athletes (well, sort of…) ran the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for Beating Bowel Cancer and Bowel Cancer UK.

Our director Alex, QA consultant Jon, Linux and DevOps consultant Jack, and Office Manager Stacey all ran the 13 miles in under 3 hours, and have raised nearly £3000 for the charities! The even better news is that we’re still raising money — click here to help us reach £3000!

With varying levels of preparedness (from several practice runs to, well, two), and fuelled on suspiciously unhealthy food (we had a huge Nandos in the office just two days before), Team Prism turned up Sunday morning bright eyed and optimistic.

Jon came first, with an amazing 1:51:49, followed by Alex at 2:08:30, Jack at 2:45:27 and Stacey with 2:57:07. All in time for lunch!

Their times were excellent, the money they’ve raised is staggering, and they even managed to enjoy themselves!

We’re so proud of Team Prism, and huge congratulations to them for their stellar times!
