So, what is Munja? Munja is a ghost, a bachelor ghost. Someone who dies in the youth. So the question would arise in the reader’s mind what’s peculiar in this? Everyone fears ghosts, right? They are scary, ruthless, and kill with impunity but the Munja is a harmless fellow. Our Munja is not at all same as Jason from Friday the 13th. Basically, Munja sits on the Peepal tree at the boundary of the village and watches everything coming in and out.
