This common vision problem causes a range of symptoms, all of which can interfere with your ability to complete your work. Symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome

● Dry Eyes
Spending long hours staring at a computer screen can lead to eyes that are dry, red and irritated. As you stare at your screen, you blink less often than you usually would and you keep your eyes open wide, both of which can lead to your eyes drying out.

● Rest Your Eyes Regularly
It’s important to give your eyes regular breaks from staring at a computer screen. Download a timer app for your web browser to remind yourself to rest at regular intervals. During your break, let your eyes recover by staring into space, talking to a co-worker or going for a walk; don’t simply move your eyes from your computer screen to your phone or tablet!

● Filter Out Blue Light
You can reduce the strain on your eyes by filtering out the harsh blue light emitted by computer screens. Some monitors have light profiles that are less blue than others. You can also try changing the color settings on your monitor or installing a filter to remove blue light.

● Increase Font Size
Squinting at small text on a screen can lead to eye strain. A simple fix is to increase the font size on your computer display. Windows users can open the Control Panel and alter the Display settings to change the default font size for their system.

● Improve Ambient Lighting
As well as changing the way your computer displays the information you need, you should also pay attention to the environment around your workstation.
