I got my e-residency card few weeks ago and overall it’s a nice thing to have with quite insane possibilities, but for now, for me as a Swede who lives in Germany, it doesn’t give any help for taxes etc ( http://www.big6.ee/en/f-a-q/e-residency/ ). It feels more like a username for Estonia’s e-services. What did I learn on my journey of starting business via e-residency? If you don’t have a friend who is tax wise and has done everything before, get professional help. The establishing process itself is easy, it only takes few days (for opening an account you need to travel to Estonia or use help with PoA), getting addresses, help, info, accountants etc etc is the tricky part. And then there is the language.. Younger people, lets say under 30–35, speaks English, older ones mainly Estonian or Russian..
