Good points Akbar. Two big things SMBs always forget about is 1) ongoing support and 2) developer churn. For #1, SMBs need to consider who will be providing ongoing support for custom apps. Custom app development is never a one-time shot, but an ongoing need. Big question — do you think your custom app developers will be dedicated to supporting the app forever? For #2, if you’re an SMB, what are you going to do about developer churn? Considering that 20% or higher of developers turn over each year, how confident do you feel that your custom app developer will be around next year to support ongoing development of your custom app?
