Pro-Vents Appairel Ltd. began operations in Hamilton, Ontario, at the centre of Canada’s industrial heartland.

The corporation’s founder, a steelworker, prohibited from wearing shorts at work, endeavored to create a product that would provide the comfort and coolness of a pair of shorts while maintaining the abrasion protection inherent in conventional pants.

Pro-Vents™ convertible ventilated trousers were created by workers, for workers. Developed by listening carefully to the specific requirements of employers and by thoroughly sampling and testing the trousers in a variety of demanding industrial environments, Pro-Vents Appairel Ltd.’s Patent Pending designs are setting the standard in industrial quality ventilated work wear.

Since its inception, Pro-Vents Appairel Ltd. has stood behind the integrity of its products. Our standard PRO-VENTS ™ ventilated work pant is constructed from comfortable cotton/polyester blends and amazingly durable polyester athletic meshes. (Ever tear a hockey jersey?) This unique combination results in a convertible pant that meets or exceeds the abrasion protection of standard trousers while providing companies with a cooler, more reliable, and more productive workforce.

Pro-Vents Appairel Ltd. utilizes leading suppliers of innovative materials. For example, our work wear can be manufactured using Dupont Nomex ™ flame resistant material and meshes as well as 3M Scotchlite™ retroreflective trims. As a result, Pro-Vents Appairel Ltd. can provide products that satisfy the specific requirements of even the most demanding occupational end users.
