Autonomous vehicle track & accelerator coming to Peachtree Corners
The City of Peachtree Corners and Prototype Prime are proud to announce the creation of a city-owned and operated autonomous vehicle track and an Advanced Vehicle Technology Accelerator.
The autonomous vehicle will operate on a 1.4-mile track within Technology Park, running from Peachtree Parkway to Spalding Drive. Construction will begin shortly and the track is anticipated to open by January 2019.
The Advanced Vehicle Technology Accelerator is a partnership between Prototype Prime and TechConnectHub.com. The goal is to foster collaboration among major local brands, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and technologists, who will work with partners throughout the advanced vehicle ecosystem to focus on the transportation challenges of tomorrow. Prototype Prime will serve as the innovation, collaboration, and testing hub for the advanced vehicle project as the new track will be just outside of the building’s front door. With over 25,000 square feet of space, including a prototype design lab, Prototype Prime has the amenities and resources available to help startups and established companies dream, build, and scale the future of advanced vehicles together.
