Why am I starting a blog?

I’ve been reading blogs for years and it’s still a part of my daily routine. I love Twitter and don’t see myself abandoning that platform anytime soon, but sometimes I want to say something that requires more than 140 characters. This gives me a space to put that kind of content.

Things you should know about me:

I’m highly sarcastic/snarky.
I’m a Reformed Baptist.
I like coffee.

If you have a problem with the three things that I listed above, please don’t leave nasty comments on my posts or assault me on Twitter. Instead, just turn around and read a different blog. Preferably one that you agree with. :)

Now for those of you who are still here, thank you! Glad to have you around. This blog will be a bit of a catch-all for my thoughts. Some of them will be deadly serious and other ones will most likely consist of well-meaning satire, because that’s kinda who I am.

If you have a topic that you would like me to address, DM me on Twitter or shoot me an email (address is in my profile) and I’ll give your suggestion some thought. Not saying I’ll write about it, but it will go onto my list of potential topics and I’ll try to get around to it. ;)

If you are interested in guest-posting, send me your article and if I like it enough, I’ll post it. If not, I won’t. Don’t take it personally if I turn you down. I might be busy. I might not see your email. Or I may just not care for the topic that you’re writing about.

Well, I think that covers everything. I’ll try to post consistently (once or twice a week). Looking forward to sharing my thoughts with all of you.
