Opening of Atom Space in Odessa

On August 5, 2017, Atom Space, a place for digital creativity and development of youth, will open its doors for the first time in Odessa, Ukraine.
In this new space, 14–18-year-old teenagers can improve and apply their knowledge in the Technology, Engineering and Math spheres.
For these purposes, Atom Space has specifically dedicated several zones for Lectures, Co-working, and Bootcamp where students will have an opportunity to learn and even get a first-time hands-on experience working on their projects.
Residents of Atom Space are free to attend lectures, master classes, training sessions, and regular classes, including classes according to the CodeClubUA program as well as take advantage of the solutions developed by the IT2School teachers. They also have an opportunity to study in the coworking space up to 4 hours a day
All mentors, teachers, and lecturers will teach and coordinate projects as volunteers. This is their contribution to the development of the growing IT-generation. Therefore the selection of Atom Space residents will be given special attention.
How to become a resident of Atom Space:
· Fill in the resident application on the website.
· Successfully pass an interview and get a resident card.
The deadline for filing in applications is July 23, 2017. In August there will be issued 50 resident cards.
The resident card provides the right to attend all Atom Space events and is issued for a period of 1 month. It is renewable depending on the student’s efforts and desire to study.
How to become a lecturer/speaker:
· Fill in the resident application on the website.
· Provide the description of the format and subject matter, as well as indicate the desired date and time to conduct events/classes.
· Receive AtomSpace confirmation and conduct events/classes.
Atom Space is a chance for development of all the talented guys who have glowing eyes and want to achieve something!
The founders of the project, Provectus and IT2School, invite mentors, speakers, and partners, as well as all of those who are not indifferent to the development of the future generation of IT specialists in Odessa to work together on this project. The key mentor of the project is Impact Hub Odessa.
