Well, for starters I think we should get some name-dropping out of the way

Pick a nickname, should we call them the grammar police, or just writing pri**s?

That’s really the way I feel about it some days, heck most days now. Even after I have seen how bad my grammar can actually be sometimes. Pretty bad for someone who claims to be an English Major dropout. But that was a long, long time ago. I mean a really long time. And to top it off I haven’t used that skill set much except for casual stuff that nobody really…

Well, the question has been raised and, like they say, it’s hard to put the genie back in the bottle. (1) So here we are, I have been asked to define when it is okay to break the rules of writing and also to define when it is not okay. So, I will rise to the challenge and, hopefully come out victorious on the other end.

This is not a simple subject to talk about without getting philosophical, without going deep into that intellectual abyss of writing philosophy. …

During a recent stress test for the soon to be released and highly anticipated World of Warcraft Classic, I had some pretty serious flashbacks of memories of the good old days as A fan of what is usually referred to as vanilla Warcraft.

The experience was what it was, just a teaser for what is to come. It is always hard to participate in something like that when you know your progress will eventually disappear into the nether.

The emotions, oh the emotions that were invoked actually scared me a little bit, what is it about that game, in that…

Welcome to this brief, but important post about ladies who use their talented and beautiful voices to inspire. I won’t say a lot about it here because I believe the topic has been covered well elsewhere, but music has the power to impact lives in unimaginable ways.

Music can inspire us to reflect, to rejoice, and move us to action. I just want to share with you today my list of those artists who inspire me to contemplate and motivate me to act. So please enjoy.

DISCLAIMER — This is my list created by me, no votes were taken from…

Years ago when I was learning about this new digital medium that people like to call blogging I was continually bombarded with articles and titles of articles suggesting, no almost demanding, that a digital article, blog entry, or any form of writing on the web should be limited to 500 words. I’ve seen it stated time and time again, heck if you even ask Google this is what you get . . .

My first reaction is oh my gosh, if that’s all it takes for online writing is 500-word articles then I’m in. I can produce those in my…

It’s all about the never-ending influencing mantras of how the game developers get more revenue, of how the consumer wins with a lower price (well only sometimes) and don’t forget the “its only one more launcher” mantra. They are beginning to wear out the general gaming public, or at least me anyways, I am so tired of hearing about it.

And this is why;

The whole smorgasbord could backfire so easy on the consumer, on the game developer and on even on Epic Games themselves.

It’s pretty obvious that with the launch of the Epic store that their business strategy…

It must be a sign, an act of divine intervention? The DKP gods? I don’t believe in coincidences, but with the recent announcement about the launch date for Classic World of Warcraft, my blood started pumping. It was then that I realized that is the official date I started playing World of Warcraft (vanilla edition 2006). Thirteen years to the day that I first played. Now I don’t necessarily believe in bad omens, and superstitious numbers, but wow thirteen years to the day, wow, just wow, and yes finally vanilla WoW.

And yes, so my life as I know it…

I’ve been wrong. I’ve been misguided. I’ve been hiding from the full truth. I have not shared all of me. I have not gotten my point across. All my ramblings have befallen upon ears that wish not to hear. I have put myself and my own needs first. I’ve had my mind blinded by ambition. I have assumed that I am always right. I have assumed that you the reader would want to read something I may have taken the time to write. And I have taken for granted the fact that the world would automatically tune in and take…

Well, it seems that everyone on Medium here from time to time talks about their earnings, while sometimes that is helpful, sometimes it is not. But here we go because I believe it’s my turn to boast or banter on about my lack of success here on Medium. Yes, I know I’m long-winded, yes, I know I may not be picking current topics hoping to land up high in search and social shares, and yes, I must be doing it all wrong, my earnings last month a whopping two pennies, yes not one, but two. …
