Top 5 Best Selling Psoriasis Products On Amazon

The combat against Psoriasis

Number #5

Jojoba Oil by Leven Rose

It sounds like Ja Ja Binks from Star Wars

Most essential oils sting or make Psoriasis patches flare up except for this. Probably because of it’s natural and organic abstracts that doesn’t cause that.

It is known to many Psoriasis sufferers (like me) that this oil can be used on the scalp. Simply apply this oil sparingly on the Psoriasis scalp after washing and drying up your hair.

As some Psoriasis sufferers swear by the Jojoba Oil, it is no wonder it made to the fifth spot on Amazon.

Number #4

Psoriasin Psoriasis Gel Cream Relief

Do not underestimate this gel

Oh yes, this gel doesn’t look like much and there are not many reviews on Amazon at the moment. But this tropical gel seriously packs a punch.

At any point of time in your journey of searching the holy grail of Psoriasis, you might have used several tropical creams or steroids. By far, this should be named as the best OTC tropical cream you can ever find for your Psoriasis. (Not exaggerating here!)

Not to mention, the size is suitable for travel and fits just right into my pocket.

For such a cheap remedy, what more can I say?

Number #3

Dermasolve Psoriasis Scalp Oil

Looks like some door knob oil lubricant

As the title suggests, this is actually meant for your Psoriasis scalp. However, this product made it to the top 3 best selling on Amazon! Personally I have not use this but let’s take a look at some of the reviews.

The Good:

“ This stuff works wonders. I used to have to get a prescription medicine for my scalp due to psoriasis but changed doctors and did not renew my script. I saw this online and bought it to try it out. It works just as good as a prescription one but less the cost.”

“I don’t know that this helped with flaking any more than oils I’ve tried- tea tree, coconut, essential, but it does feel good on an itchy scalp and worked well as a conditioner!”

“I only wash my hair every four days to preserve my haircolor, and during the colder months when using indoor heat, my scalp starts to flake. I use this on my scalp the night before washing, and it loosens up all the dry flakes so I can wash them out the next morning. It is greasy, but I only need to use it at night, so I never have to leave the house with it in my hair. It has made all the difference to me in getting those stubborn dry flakes out of my hair. I highly recommend it.”

The Bad:

“Absolutely didn’t help, worsened the problem and was extremely hard to get out of the hair”

“It reduces flaking & redness over night at about a 2 or 3 out of 10. It’s a bunch of oil combinations that can only be worn while sleeping”

Why not you try it out and make the verdict?

Number #2

Psoriasin — Deep Moisturizing Ointment

Psoriasin, why are you always on the list?

The second best seller on Amazon for Psoriasis is the Psoriasin deep moisturizing ointment. This is again another type of tropical cream that you can buy OTC.

While doing my own investigation on this ointment, I discover that many people complained about the smell of tar when used. Looking at the contents of this ointment, it does actually contain 2% active ingredients — Coal Tar.

Also, looking at the disclaimer made by them:

“Legal Disclaimer

Statements regarding dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.”

Well, there is still no exact “cure” for Psoriasis anyway. Treating Psoriasis externally definitely is not the ultimate solution, but I guess it does help to control the flare ups.

Number #1

Moroccan Argan Oil by Kate Blanc

It’s a moisturizing oil again!

Drum roll please…. !

The Kate Blanc Argan Oil is the #1 best seller product for Psoriasis on Amazon. Congratulations!

Before you rush in to empty the shelves, I have to say, being the best seller may not mean it is the more effective product for Psoriasis. It probably means that they have a better marketing strategy than others. That’s that.

I wouldn’t recommend using Argan Oil for scalp Psoriasis. Other body area works fine with that.
