What I see is mostly one sided. Though you elude to many of those protesting peacefully your story is slanted. Just my observation. And THAT is in large part why the Trump movement has such great momentum.
I was a journalism major, worked as an intern in a small southern town reporting radio news. I walked along in a black march recording the experience and delivered the best unbiased report I could to a mostly white audience. I had a passion for the people I was reporting on, but I had an obligation as a journalist to balance the story.
As a kid I saw the assassination of Martin Luther King, and experienced the riots that ensued all around me when the black community took to the streets to protest. I remember vividly the riots of LA in 1992 over Rodney King and I have long called Baltimore City my home. I am as white as white gets and I have a deep passion for the struggle of the black community; now for Muslims and Hispanics.
But I am a Trump supporter. I am because I’m tired of the worthless politicians who have landed us in this spot in the first place. I’m fed up with a biased media that uses sound bites to convince me that Trump is evil. When I do my homework, as any “Good” journalist will do, the truth I find is that we’re all being played. And as long as we buy into this slanted media and the agenda of the corporate and political elite we will only continue to see these problems escalate.
Why was Cage thrown to the ground? Do you know? Or do you prefer to simply allow everyone to believe it is Trump’s fault this happened?
Yes, we want to Make America Great Again, I know I do, and I know you do too. But that will never happen until we all learn “Acceptance and Tolerance” and stop buying up the one sided slanted reports that point fingers as someone without doing the homework to know the truth.
Here’s another important fact, that if you can’t argue the point from an opposing viewpoint you have no right to argue the point from your viewpoint; that’s simple collegiate debating 101. Learn to feel for both sides and by all, any and every means, give us an honest in depth report, not a personal impression of your feelings.
