Excellent read, those are some frightful statistics! I see the result of those statistics everyday but have easily became numb to the issues. BLM is a strong movement and gets no where near the amount of respect it deserves because everyone hears the name and feel the need to come with an opposing response instead of actually listening to understand where we are coming from. I chose to attach that picture to this reply because personally I’m tired of this conversation. America has positioned itself as the bully of it’s darker skinned population. Very few bullies are able to hear verbal reasoning. Marching and “peaceful protests” has only got us corns bunyans and blisters. Not only that ,in a roundabout way it still shows that we are willing to be submissive to a system designed to lead us to our demise. There is a reason men like Huey Newton, Malcolm X, Nat Turner & many more made this institution fear them, they were not willing to offer peace until peace and fair justice was offered to the oppressed people. We have to find that spirit that refuses to be treated as sub humans and sit quietly while it happens. My message to all people of all races, if your not the solution you are the cancer!
