Next up in our ‘Meet the Team’ series, we are featuring Stephane Moreau, a Data Scientist at Qbiz UK.
Background & Education
Stephane was first exposed to Data Science whilst he was studying for his Master in Engineering in Mechatronics and Robotics. His interest spiked during a final year Masters' project, which consisted of him using Machine Learning to predict hand gestures from muscle signals for prosthetic control. At this point, Stephane found his path and decided to learn the programming language Python post-university to break into the world of Data Science. Since then, Stephane has built his Data Science experience working at a Football agency, leveraging data sources to consult for football clubs, as well as developing new workflows to support in-house agents. He is now very excited to explore the opportunities and learn more about what Qbiz will undoubtedly offer.
Work & Areas of Interest
Stephane is particularly interested in Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Exploration, Visualizations, and Health technology. His goal is to learn new tools and be able to make things work!

Outside Of The Office…
Football, football, and oh, more football. If it’s regarding football, Stephane is your man. But not only football; he is also interested in other sports, as well as street art, music, social events, and traveling but football is definitely number 1 on his list!
