Serena Williams Isn’t Yours To Love
Ezinne Ukoha

I know that you won’t understand this, but you could have made your point without the racist comments. Ms. Williams is a wonderful tennis player, regardless of race. She is possibly the greatest of all time, regardless of race. Serena is a stand up person, regardless of race. She is someone whose actions, both on and off the court, should by emulated, regardless of race.

John McEnroe is a person who acts poorly, regardless of race. His legendary tantrums on the court were always viewed as deplorable, regardless of race. His attempt to use Serena Williams as a means to becoming relevant again is cheap and tawdry, regardless of race.

Stupidity comes in all colors, both genders and every age group.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
