What is GISH you ask? GISH is not a dish.GISH is not a fish. GISH is a dream and GISH is a wish.

GISH is time well spent elbow deep in rubber cement.

GISH is making friends and meeting strangers while sharing odds and ends.

GISH tells a story of how it was or could be. GISH rescues, rebuilds, invents, and foresees.

GISH opens your world to think outside the box when tasks include clocks, crocs, rocks, and socks.

Remember to eat and drink and feed the dog; GISH will keep you in a fog.

GISH will give you unreasonable pain and suffering as you hover over all that is so puzzling.

GISH is a week that seems so long and sometimes requires that you sing a song.

GISH is a team going to extremes to build sunbeams while fishing in streams.

GISH, at the beginning, “it seemed like a good idea at the time” until you’re carving faces into limes while loudly singing pantomimes.

GISH will make you smile, and laugh, and dance, and sing, and fly a kite without any string.

GISH will show you the way to help people from coast-to-coast; to lend a hand where it’s needed the most.

GISH is fun and frustrating too; one short-long week with much to do.

GISH goes above the rest, wishing all to just do their best.

GISH sees that there is no wrong or right and says it’s ok to say goodnight.

GISH is a project of two or more completed by those who know the score.

GISH will make you see the light, and GISH is the struggle and the fight to make a world a a little more bright.
