- This was a tragic killing and my heart goes out to the family of Tamir Rice.
- Cops kill whites at a much higher percentage of population than blacks and you are wrong in stating blacks are killed at a higher rate. It is more dangerous to be a white object of a police action than a black.
- Tamir’s gun was missing the orange safety tip that indicates a replica/toy rather that a real gun. If it had the orange tip this might not have happened. Note to parents — don’t let your kids out of the house with a toy gun that does not have the orange tip. Note to kids, make sure your toy has the orange tip.
- Final note. The world is a more dangerous place than it used to be. Pointing what looks like a gun at people is likely to get you noticed in a way that will not end well for you. Don’t take unnecessary chances with your life.
