The most important skill of a content marketer

You might think that a content marketer’s job is to create great content that leads to conversions on your site, increases brand awareness, and helps drive inbound marketing.

You’re not wrong.

But there’s another skill that every great content marketer should possess, says Intercom’s managing editor John Collins. It’s the ability to give flight to other people’s ideas. A skilled content marketer isn’t a subject matter expert, but someone who knows how to help shape other people’s ideas.
