QuickTapSurvey and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
At QuickTapSurvey, your data security and privacy is of the utmost importance. As a team, we’re committed to ensuring that our privacy standards are always up to date in a rapidly changing environment. Right now, we’re preparing for the upcoming European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will take effect on May 25, 2018.
What is GDPR and why does it matter?
The GDPR is a European Union regulation designed to improve and standardize the data security and privacy of European Union citizens. You can find out more about the specifics of the regulation here. QuickTapSurvey is committed to meeting this higher standard not only for our customers in the EU, but for our customers around the world. This means your data will be safer and more private.
An update on our readiness for GDPR compliance:
1. Privacy and Data Retention Policies
We will be updating our Privacy and Retention Policies towards GDPR compliance. You can see our existing policies here. We’ll notify all customers in advance of changes being implemented.
2. Data Processing Agreements
We will be creating written Data Processing Agreements available for our customers to sign as part of our GDPR preparation. Check back on our blog for updates on this, or contact our Support Team for more information.
3. Security Practices
While QuickTapSurvey currently employs state of the art, industry-standard security measures, as part of our commitment to GDPR compliance we are also reviewing our data security practices to see how we can serve you even better.
