This is one of my attempts at a more advanced pattern. The customer wanted something that accentuated her chest and showed off her tiny waist! I’m happy to say she’s very pleased with her one of a kind top and has plans to wear it to an outdoor party next week. 3.75MM Hook

1 Skein of Sugar’n Cream Yarn

Pattern

Ch 4

1 SC in each St until end of row

Ch 2, 1 DC in same St, 1 DC in each St until end of row (Repeat 3 times)

Ch 2, 1 DC in same St, 1 DC in each St until last St, in last St insert 2 DC (Repeat 6 times)

Ch 2, 1 DC in each St until end of row (Repeat 3 times)

Should have 24 St in final row

Tie off and cut work.

Repeat above pattern for second cup.

Join bottom corners of triangles together with a SS.

Join in corners and crochet up.

1 SC in next St going up in direction of orange arrow.

Ch 2, join to the other cup in the opposite St with 1 SC

*SS in next 2 St, Ch 4 and join to other cup in opposite St with 1 SC

Repeat from * chaining 6, then 8, 10, 12, and 14

Chained rows are joined to cups in diagonal pattern.

SS in the next 3 St, SC in last St of the row, Ch 16 join to other cup in the last St of row with 1 SC

Chained rows should be moving in a diagonal pattern as shown to the right with the orange arrows.

Ch 2, 1 DC in next St, Ch 15, in second to last St of row 1 DC, 1 DC in last St

Ch 3, skip one St, 1 DC in next St, **Ch 1, skip one St, 1 DC in next St, Repeat from ** until end of row (Repeat twice).

Ch 65 for first strap.

Tie and cut off work.

Insert hook into the other top corner on opposite side of row of first strap.

Join loose yarn to corner with a SS

Tie and cut off work

Insert hook in corner and SC across work.

Insert hook into bottom right corner (red circle) and making your own spaces SC until end of work following the direction of the orange arrow.

Once at end of row Ch 3, skip 1 St, 1 DC in next St, ***Ch 1, skip 1 St, 1 DC in next St, Repeat from *** until end of row (repeat 10 times).

Tie work and cut off.

Insert hook in side of top and SC up work.

Insert your hook into the bottom right corner (red circle) of the top and making your own spaces SC until end of work in direction of orange arrow.

Ch 3, skip one St, 1 DC in next St, ****Ch 1, skip one St, 1 DC in next St, Repeat from **** until end of row.

Repeat row twice.

Tie off work and cut.

Repeat on other side of top.

Tie off work and cut

This will act has your string to tie the corset of your top.

Lace string through sides of top and tie at bottom.
