“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4

This is the 4th verse of Psalm 23, the most googled Psalm in the Bible. In this verse the “valley of the shadow of death” refers to the Kidron Valley between Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives which has also been a cemetery since biblical times and where many tombs are built still today.
