I got that. Giving up creative control is not losing your freedom. To call it a slave contract is hyperbolic, to say the least. Anyone who works at a job taking orders all day gives up their creative control and many do it for peanuts. That’s how it is for most working people. Those who don’t have to make that sacrifice are lucky.
