Have you ever dreamed about cleaning-up the whole world from pollution in the forests, beaches and cities just within a day? Maybe yes… but it seems impossible to do it alone, right?

But what about doing it together… together with a few hundred (!) million (!!) other people from all over the world?? Sounds like a crazy idea… but it’s about to happen if you join us in supporting World Cleanup Day 2018 — the greatest and boldest green enterprise in human history!

This insane project originates from the dream of a handful of volunteers at Let’s Do It! World — a civic-led mass movement that began in Estonia in 2008 when 50,000 people united together to clean up the entire country in just five hours!!

Since then, Let’s Do It! has spread this model and in the past 7 years a total of 112 countries and 13,8 million (crazy, huh?) people have joined Let’s Do It to clean up illegal waste.

Now the same team has a new dream (and the skills and network!) to bring together 5% of the world’s total population (about 380 million people) in 150 countries for a World Cleanup Day on 8th of September 2018 — which would be the largest civic action ever in history… and now they need a little help from you to accomplish this!

As our company Nores Plastic Ltd. works in recycling industry we surely care deeply about our Earth and we do a lot already on local / regional level — but now we’ve got a chance to make a real difference on a global scale!

Naturally, it takes more than just one cleanup day. A bigger change is necessary — a plan — about how to keep the planet clean. Companies like ours have a big role to play to ensure that waste would be reduced to minimum. But in order to make the whole world to back this idea, the Cleanup Day will bring this matter into everybody’s awareness.

Why is our support so important?

The fundraising campaign at Indiegogo is the first big step in realizing the great dream and Let’s Do It! believes in the power of crowdfunding to collect the funds necessary for establishing local teams to coordinate preparations for the World Cleanup Day in 150 countries. 
 
Essentially the local coordinating teams task will be to motivate 5% of the population to join the World Cleanup Day in 2018 — AND MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW! They start working during this year by looking for leaders that can make this campaign a success in their countries. Training, supporting and inspiring them, to carry on in 2017 with mapping the illegal waste (to know the enemy:)) and further in 2018 to spread the word and gather hundreds of millions of volunteers to collect all the trash in our forests, beaches and cities during one big cleanup on the 8th of September, 2018.

The funds collected in Indiegogo will be used to establish the necessary infrastructure for all of the coordinating teams.
