The RIGO Foundation has launched testnet on the 28th of July.
The RIGO Foundation is running Devnet and Testnet to perfect the network before launching the mainnet.
The purpose of the testnet is to test the stability and reliability of the network, and the RIGO Foundation plans to release a finalized version of the testnet to the mainnet at a later date. The testnet is operating in a stabilized version after fixing all the issues found through Haechi Labs security audit, and a second audit is under consideration to improve the completeness of the network.
Currently, the growth of digital asset markets based on real assets in the blockchain business is predicted, and the interest and demand of companies preparing for the market are increasing rapidly. Among them, private blockchains are attracting attention as a core technology for the digital asset market, but their independence and limited accessibility of information make it necessary to solve scalability. Accordingly, the RIGO was launched to address scalability by connecting individual private blockchain technologies and businesses.
The RIGO consists of three core technologies and services: RIGO Core, RIGO Bridge, and RIGO Scan.
RIGO Core is built on the Tendermint consensus mechanism, which combines Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance(PBFT) and Delegated Proof of Stake(DPoS), uses Ethereum Virtual Machine(EVM) based smart contract technology, and is equipped with fast transaction processing technology. RIGO Bridge connects private blockchains to allow digital assets to move seamlessly. RIGO Scan is a dashboard service that allows you to check blockchain status information generated by RIGO Core and Bridge.
Finally, the testnet is a final review for the RIGO mainnet, which is scheduled to launch in the 4th quarter of the year. RIGO aims to become the center of the digital asset market by connecting private blockchains.
After the mainnet launch, we are planning to collaborate with companies in various fields on the project, and we will build an ecosystem with various industries by providing companies with opportunities to expand their blockchain business and users with new digital asset values.
