Only take “one” suit

Despite losing the 1984 series to the Boston Celtics and regardless of the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers franchise was 0–8 vs. Boston in NBA finals history, when Magic Johnson and the L.A. Lakers traveled to Boston for Game 6 of the 1985 NBA finals he instructed his team to, “Only bring one suit. We’re not staying in Boston for a game seven” he added. Magic didn’t want there to be a backup plan. Can you say the same for yourself?
So many times people say, “If this plan A doesn’t work out, than I’ll settle for Plan B.” They might say, “I’ll try to chase my dreams for a few years but if it doesn’t work out than I will settle for something else.” I promise you that if you approach anything with this attitude, you will fail. Don’t give yourself an option other than achieving what you want. Write down what your goals each morning. Don’t skip a day. You will stop when either 1-You accomplish them or 2-You Quit. Believe it or not the choice is yours.
You might have to take an internship, go back to school or even move across the country. You might even have to start all over. The journey might not be glamors and I promise you will face adversity however if you are determined enough to achieve something you will do it. It might not happen today or even tomorrow but commit to the process of growing each day and it will happen.
