What you will NEVER do to build and nurture the development of Confidence!

This 4 part series is a construction model aimed to build lasting concentration in athletes. Here are 3 main points on what the athlete will NEVER do, because it undermines and damages the development of concentration:

1- “I will never focus on things outside of my control. Recent success, the weather, crowd, opposing team, environment or my coaches have nothing to do with my ability to choose to LEAD (Love, Effort, Attitude, Discipline).

2- “I choose to be my own best friend, biggest fan, and greatest coach. I will never use negative self-talk or punish myself for failing. I choose to identify and eliminate harmful thoughts by responding positively to every negative situation or thought. This type of thinking gives me the best chance of success.”

3- “I will never compare myself to others and I will never base my worth on winning. True success in football is not based on individual statistics or by a win loss record, any more than success in life is based on possessions.”
