A religion that takes me there
Jonas Ellison

In 1972, Neem Karoli Baba told me to read the New Testament over the Easter weekend. Some passages seemed to be written in gold letters. The Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes in particular, but there were others. Christianity is nothing like the teachings of Jesus. The passages in gold letters were all about compassion. There was even a passage about “living in the now.” It was the one about the birds in the air, who sow not neither to they reap or store in barns. I don’t know many Christians who live that way. In my opinion, Christianity descended into idolatry and all the evils that come with it.
