This Is What Happens When Someone Is Dying

My Dad was dying of stomach cancer at the age of 89. He was in a hospice, but I visited him every day. He had me running around for 3 months tying up the loose ends of his life. One day I told him, “Dad, it’s all taken care of now.”
He said, “So I can go now?”
I said, “If you want to.” He died peacefully in his sleep that night.
