We have to see capitalism for what it has become. There used to be some checks and balances, but now there are few or none. It’s become a rapacious monster and threatens everyone. I suppose it could work if it was reined in, but it’s out of control. The weird thing is how many people who suffer under capitalism still defend it. Market forces may keep the prices of some things down, but corporations are starting to see the “value” in overcharging for things we need, like medication. Your analogy is spot on.
