Dynamic custom domain routing in Laravel

Just to clarify, does this setup only permit users to add their custom domains that correspond to the name that is used in the subdomain?

Let’s say they created an account with your application and got this full domain:

new-customer.your-app.com

So, in order for Laravel to fetch the information about the customer with their custom domain, the custom domain would have to be ‘new-customer.com’?

The custom domain could not be google.com and point to new-customer.your-app.com, because Laravel wouldn’t be able to use route model binding, as the custom domain and subdomain do not match?
