Day 4 Challenge to a Better Blog

Time Spend: 30 mins
Tools needed: Facebook, Twitter
Difficulty level: 🐰
Today’s goal, add three People that you want to foster a new relationship.
To thrive in the blogger sphere, you can’t do it alone. You can do most of the tasks, but when it comes to emotional support or brand awareness, you need others to be there for you.
That’s why today, I’m going to show how to find your tribe, your support group who will be there for you rooting when you feel discouraged as a blogger. It’s crucial to have people like that close-by, and I’m not just making this up, this is backed by science.
Buffer effect of social support.
People who feel supported by others feel less stress. If you know your friends will help you and there is someone with whom you can talk things through, somehow stressful situations are more tolerable.
Now it makes sense that if you’re a beauty blogger, you’re likely to find people who share the same interest as you, ones that also had experienced what you’ve experienced before. But with the internet so vest where do you find them?
How to find your tribe on FB
The starting point for finding your tribe is through your Facebook page. Are there people who often stopped by your page and leave comments? I hope you are replying those comments because those are the people who are already reaching out to you.
If you’re just starting out in your blogging career, then I would suggest appearing everywhere in places where your tribe would hang out. A great place to look for is Facebook Group.
For a while, I thought Facebook is dead, but apparently not when I found a blogger group that has more than 4K active members.
There are got to be someone that you can make a connection.
To located a Facebook group that shares a common denominator as you, use Facebook search to begin.
In your Facebook search bar type in this:
Groups of people who like TOPIC
If you want to refine more
Groups of people who like TOPIC and like PAGE NAME
How to find your tribe on Twitter Chat
People are all over the place across social media platform; I find it that most conversion carries out in Twitter Chat. If you beauty blogger, go back to Day 3 challenge to unlock my personal Twitter chat schedule.
Twitter chat is an online event where like-minded people gather together at a set time and chat on a specific topic. To participate simply show up on time and type in the assigned hashtag in the search bar.
I prefer Twitter chat more than FB group enagment because you can get a sens of what people are like, do their persoanlity and value aline to yours. Plus you dont need to wait for people tor esponse on facebook, twitter chat is a real time chat.
I will always take breaks from blogging if things get too much, sometimes you need to put yourself first, don’t want to burn out #fblchat

Once you can a general idea who you want to connect, show up where they show up, comment on their blog. As science says
Propinquity Effect
The more we meet and interact with people, the more likely we are to become friends with them.
Relationship account is hard to jungle, so I would focus on getting a small group of people to be my tribe. if you have a 100 people in your support group, your relationship with them may diluate.
Fostering a relationship doesnt take one day, its an accumlatin of engagement and interaction with others, so don’t wait til you need help to start searching for people.
That’s it for today, if you miss the first 3 days of the challenge check them out. It will only make your blog better.
