Kibisis is a browser extension wallet, that operates similarly to Phantom, Compass and MetaMask. However for users coming from Algorand, this type of wallet may be unfamiliar.

  1. Go to the Kibisis website and download the right extension for your browser.

2. Before the extension is added a safety warning will pop up.

This is pretty standard for extension browsers

However, that doesn’t change the fact that there is an element of trust for all web extension wallets, especially new ones. If you are worried you can manually change the settings in ‘permission management’ so that it can only read specific sites.

3. Click to open the extension (look in your browser bar), and press the purple ‘Get Started’ button.

The first thing you will need to do is to create a password. This will be used to access your wallet on this browser only. Once you have come up with a suitably strong password and recorded it somewhere safe, click ‘Next’.

4. Now follow along the prompts. You can choose to import an existing account if you have already gotten started with A-Wallet, or you can create one from scratch.

a) Starting from scratch:

When you click ‘Create a New Account’ Kibisis will bring up your new seed phrase like in the image below. Make sure you copy out all 25 words and store them somewhere safe!

Continue on clicking ‘Next’ and naming your account.

b) Importing an existing account:

On my computer you need to scroll down slightly to click ‘next’ before you are able to name your wallet.

5. Well done, you’ve created or imported a wallet to Kibisis. Now the only thing left is to add any ARC200 assets you might want to make visible! Click the large purple button in the bottom middle that says ‘+Add Asset’

6. Type in the asset ID that you want to add, and click ‘Add Asset’. The most common ARC200 asset is VIA: 6779767, but you can repeat this step for as many as you like.

Congratulations! Your Kibisis wallet is now ready to roll!
