It’s been an eventful week, learning so much in a short time has been quite interesting. I have been able to grasp seemingly difficult concepts and apply them to my project. Collaboration has become a lifestyle and excellence a major drive.

I got to learn more about programming logic, object-oriented programming and the importance of versioning. Understanding the git work-flow seemed like a struggle, but I eventually got a hang of it. It’s amazing how much I love to write these days, well that’s from the boot camp too, it has been a complete experience so far.

My LFA (Learning Facilitator Assistant) has been very helpful and a great guide, he is very particular about colors, layout and how they make a perfect fit, my web application template designs seem to always need a tweak, this has helped me become more creative and detailed with my designs.

The Andela boot camp has been a lot more than I thought it’d be. Every day is a new learning experience that has a unique outcome, a constant reminder that learning should never stop. I have realized that some concepts seemed difficult because they were new to me, when I had the basic understanding of what these concepts entailed, it got a lot easier. Nothing is too difficult to learn or unlearn if passion remains a fuel and excellence is kept in the driver’s seat. Integrity makes everything less complicated and creates confidence during the journey because there’s nothing to hide or be afraid of. This is the lifestyle out here at the Andela boot camp, it’s been an amazing journey so far, haven’t gotten to the destination yet, but it’s a lot closer than it was just a few days back.
