No matter where you are in the world, how much money you have, what skills you have, or how much time you have, there is something you can do to help Ukraine win the war or to help Ukrainians survive. There are also things that many people think are helpful, but which aren’t actually all that helpful. I’m going to explain 10 things you should do and 5 things to avoid doing. Choose one or more of these and make an impact. ALL OF US have a role to play here.

10 Ways to Help Ukraine From Anywhere

  1. Donate money. Yes, it sounds obvious and so basic. Donating is heroic. EVERYTHING Ukraine needs to win the war costs money. Ukraine would have lost the war by now without millions of people around the world and governments financially supporting them. Think about what cause you would like to support, research charities, and make a donation that suits your budget.
  2. Donate airline miles, hotel points, or credit card points. You don’t need money if you have points. If you have points you can donate them at sp4ukraine.org and know you are helping a Ukrainian family or an injured soldier. Lots of people have points sitting in an account they forgot about; these points can save lives.
