The other woman I Love & cherish

I was one of six children my parents were blessed with. I’m quite sure there were moments when “blessing was debatable” I was the fourth son and soon assumed my rightful position in the family. My younger brother eventually was convinced what I was telling him about how he was supposed to be a girl . Kids can be cruel. Along came my baby sister Val. With some good fortune we have never spoken a harsh word or n any way spoken poorly of each other. My mom and her were inseparable and she mourned her passing as loosing a mom and a best friend.

My sister raised two boys and the second one was nearly lost and survived with brain damage and has been confined to a wheel chair his whole life and cannot provide for himself in any way. The way my sister accepted this challenge and has been a beacon for our family also is one of many reasons I think she is one of the greatest people on earth you would ever want to meet.

What I wouldn’t give for an ounce of her fortitude and courage, I’m proud to say she’s my sister
