Are you sure these are DB9 and DB37 connectors? It looks quite more like a DE9 to me. And 37 pin Cannon connector in two rows would uses a DC houseing.

The first letter defines the connector series, here the D.

The second denotes the shell used

The numbers to follow counts the pins or special contacts.

DE9 is a PC serial (or an Atari joystick), while a DE15 is a VGA plug — same shell ad the serial, but 3 rows of 5 pins each instead of the 5+4 of the DE9

A DB 25 is a PC paralell, while a DA15 is a PC joystick

You might want to check your part numbering again before running into trouble when ordering form a different source.
