I turn 50 later this year. OMG! I look back with disappointment. I spent all my time believing in ‘society’s’ rules for happiness… college degree, house, money. The college degree was a waste of (cough) 6 years. Still no house, and no money. I hated myself for not measuring up.

I find that I am, now, throwing out all expectations and making life about the experience, not the things.
