Rainmaker Labs collaborates with Manybits to release App for Restaurant Week
Singapore Restaurant Week, one of Singapore’s gourmet highlights, is back from the 18 to the 24 of March 2013!
As announced at the launch event, held on Tuesday, the theme of the sixth edition of Restaurant Week will incorporate the theme ‘The Grand Tour of Taste’, where participating restaurants will create unique tasting platters, enabling diners to experience a wide range of tasting portions of signatures dishes that they are known for.
This week-long celebration of food called for the collaboration of original and fresh concepts.
Our response, at Rainmaker Labs — Top Singapore iphone, android and mobile app developer, saw the development of “BUCKET — Scratch & Win” — a mobile app project that has been designed with the aim of engaging and appealing to a broader audience through an interactive reward system.
Collaborating with ManyBits, Rainmaker Labs worked on the app collectively from brainstorming and development, to unveiling the finished product, covering solutions planning and technical delivery. A representative of ManyBits commented on the high level of professionalism and experience that the product team at Rainmaker Labs brought to this project, saying “Rainmaker Labs gives us an extended arm of technical expertise — their insights and knowledge of systems has made it crystal clear to plan for user interactions.”
The launch of this application coincides with the launch of Restaurant Week.
“BUCKET” will allow patrons of Restaurant Week to play “Scratch & Win” games on their IOS devices. Participants will receive TWO chances at winning amazing daily prizes, as well as the chance to gain the top prize in the Grand Draw — two tickets on KLM airlines to experience Amsterdam Restaurant Week.
With the assistance of some of the team from Rainmaker Labs, attendee’s at Tuesday’s launch of Singapore Restaurant Week had the unique opportunity to have the first look at this new and innovative mobile app.
“BUCKET” includes many remarkable features, including object recognition where users of “BUCKET” will have the opportunity to scan particular objects of interest. Another important key element is social networking integration, giving users the ability to share the benefits with friends and family.
“BUCKET” created much curiosity among all individuals who attended the launch of Singapore Restaurant Week, and was met with much excitement and enthusiasm from people of all ages. People commented on the apps eye-catching design and stimulating graphics, with others discussing the ease of navigation. Importantly, the excitement of interaction between themselves and the technology was something that most individuals were impressed by.
The attendees were openly willing to participate and engage in this new technology.
It is sure to bring a fresh, engaging, and rewarding aspect to Singapore’s sixth edition of Restaurant Week -“BUCKET” will be sure to be a memorable edition to the festivities.
