Content Content Content… is everywhere. Who doesn’t know what content writing is? And most of them have dived into the content world already.
But that doesn’t mean the world of content is full.
“One who aspires to become a writer always has a place and a role to play”
— This is what I believe.
Writing is something that played a unknown role inside me.
During my college days (2015), I used to love penning down thoughts, writing to spread the gospel, sharing experiences on social media, and much more.
Sometimes words rush through my mind to form many sentences. I often fight with my mind to slow down, lol.
Words often inspire me. I strongly agree that words have power.
From the outset, my interest in content writing had been simmering beneath the surface, waiting to be unleashed. Two years ago, I realized that content writing is my passion.
After Watching a tons of videos, reading blogs, surfed the internet, In every Nook & Cranny I couldn’t find where to start making my passion come true. I again left it fade for a few months.
One afternoon, I was just scrolling through my Instagram an Ad just popped on my feed. It was about CONTENT VIDHYA’s — 6-Day content writing workshop. I felt convinced as the workshop provided the proper catalyst to dive headfirst into the world of words, igniting my passion again.
Day 1–6: The Journey
Every day there was a LIVE session starting at 8pm IST. Due to time constraints, I never attended one.
But the good news is they provide recorded lectures, with materials in pdf (and that too for a lifetime)which was so convenient for people like me who have time issues.
Experiences that Shaped Me:
As the days unfolded, each session became a stepping stone, paving the way for a more profound understanding of the art of content. Every day I get mails on assignments a total of 6. Such as topics on content writing, copywriting(ad copy, blog copy, blog post), Finding a niche (In my case, which I already found a long back) etc.,
Time Management:
Six days may seem fleeting, but the workshop taught me the art of time management. Balancing theory with practice, I learned to make every moment count, ensuring that I absorbed as much knowledge as possible.
Challenges Faced:
No journey is without its challenges, and content writing is no exception. Posting content on big sites always stopped me. From overcoming writer’s block and much more. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” — Lao Tzu, holds true.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
1. The good thing is I found where to begin & now am going with the flow.
2. I thought I'd be learning only on content writing, but Madhavi mam (founder of content Vidhya) has given many tasks in & out on the syllabus which even more inspired me.
3. The hands on exercises honed my writing skills.
4. Recordings & pdf are for lifetime access.
5. They said they provide placement assistance- so let’s see what happens.
Cons:
1.Doubts/queries are often asked to write mail or call — but they never pick up calls or reply back to queries.
2. They teach about affiliate marketing — but not to the depth.
3. I feel the workshop could have been more longer.
Conclusion:
I am left with a profound sense of accomplishment and excitement for the road ahead. I feel anyone can join this workshop to lay their foundations well. Let this be an invitation for you to embark on your transformative journey. Happy Learning!
