I don’t know if we are the same age, or perhaps from the same school of thought, but I find much of what they portray on TV as normal, troubling. I know that its supposed to be entertainment, but we all know that its doing much more than that. I really like the things you pointed out.
- Men can’t be trusted to “keep it in their pants.”
- Men are afraid of commitment, while women just want to get married and settle down and have babies.
These two points are especially dim-witted and vastly over used as plot lines. The sad part is, when this series was on, I was a faithful watcher, and never missed an episode. I still find the show endearing and as you said, familiar. I almost feel like I grew up with them. Isn’t it funny how you can at once love and loathe? Thanks for the stroll down M. Ln.
